last night I went to the http://www.floridaventureforum.org/ event in Tampa last night.  I love the energy around venture capital and I cannot wait until QRubini is seeking VC money — I am hoping that Steve Vazquez http://www.foley.com/people/bio.aspx?employeeid=19029&&practiceID=&industryID=&genPageID=&serviceID= will one day represent us. 

take away from the event: from Robin Kovaleski, Executive Director of the Florida Venture Forum - to entreprenuers: “know your parents well!”  I dig it!

Still, I do not like going out at night by myself anymore - I wish I had a driver - still waiting for JP to be my man here!  one of these days!  maybe in Nicaragua!

I have been feeling a bit funny about retiring from the financial sector - I use to be proud that I spent 18 years - I thought the industry had a lot of swell people and good energy - now, I am feeling differently -

girls weekend this weekend at our beach apt for me and my high school buddies - 2 cousins visiting over the weekend (Donna who makes beautiful aprons) - rental apt needs to be painted - guess I am going to be busy the next week.

Em is visiting her new school today - Canterbury http://www.canterbury-fl.org/ - I do hope she will be happy there.
